Day 12 of 365
Winter has always been my most favorite season. It’s so cold and calm, yet beautiful and pure. Queens allow for this season to be a season of renewing, refueling, and reflecting✨. The winter is the perfect time of year to stay in with your hot cup of coco, read your favorite book, pamper yourself, and journal. The next time your feeling gloomy this season remember to give yourself the friendly reminder of Trusting the Process. This time of year is normally difficult to remain happy due to the lack of sun. A daily exercise to practice this winter is to write a positive affirmation about yourself first thing in the morning when you wake up. Recite this affirmation in the mirror three times. Place this affirmation on a wall by your bed so that you can be reminded everyday of your strength and pay it forward for positively affirmed days to come. Pharrell Williams once said, "you are already that person, just put yourself in that place." So tell me, are you ready to "Trust Your Process" this winter?
Carry on Queen Mentorship is committed to unifying, uplifting, and setting young women on track to reach their full potential. Uplifting, empowering, and educating; groups of young women with the lessons and tools needed to reclaim time. Through gaining self-confidence and loving one another, we prepare young women to exude excellence, class and power in being beautiful by being themselves; despite what societal attributes may define beauty to be.
